SMM- Launches Phase 8 for GoParamed with Transamerica

SAN DIEGO, California (November 29, 2011) - Superior Mobile Medics (SMM) is pleased to announce they are now live with their digital paramed, GoParamed, nationwide for Transamerica! The demand for paperless options has gained popularity over recent months as the preferred method of obtaining a medical history (paramed) questionnaire. With its user-friendly design and built-in features such as electronic signatures and search tools which are used to look up a proposed insured's physician details, independent contractors have embraced this new technology with excitement and ease.

Customers of SMM need not change any part of their ordering process in order to benefit from the GoParamed. Each GoParamed is automatically ordered as long a paramed is required, the order is for a carrier we are live with, and we have launched in the proposed insured's state. Upon completion of the GoParamed requirement, the data and image are submitted to the carrier's lab and the .PDF of the form is uploaded to SMM's website to be downloaded at an agent or case manager's convenience. The agent or agency will be notified when all of the remaining requirements (such as labs, EKG, packets, etc) have been reviewed by Quality Control and are ready to download, as usual.

SMM is also piloting GoParamed technology for Legal and General America's subsidiary, Banner Life, in North Carolina, Kansas and California. In addition to paramedical exams, Alcohol Usage and Drug Usage questionnaires are also available electronically through SMM, along with HIPAA and HIV Consent Forms and electronic signatures.
